“SO, UH, WHAT IS EMBODIED SANSKRIT?”                — GOOD QUESTION.

Embodied Sanskrit is the fusion of movement practice (āsana) with actual Sanskrit.

From the place of  mindful embodiment, we learn the fundamentals of the Sanskrit language that all Yoga teachers need to know, like proper pronunciation of āsana names and definitions of key Yoga philosophy terms.

In Roots & Impulse, my flagship Embodied Sanskrit Level One Online Course, you’ll not just gain a solid foundation with these basics, you’ll also embark on the journey of sacred sounds — setting sail on the infinite ocean of all existence —  spanda  — divine vibration, the pulsating nature of all creation.

Activating your relationship to the pulse of life through sacred sound helps you dig deep to discover your Soul’s purpose — and translate that inner work into real-time action!

This practice is an invitation to explore your relationship to sacred sound, which doesn’t have a pre-determined destination, but rather will ignite your inner wisdom and cultivate the conditions necessary for this practical knowledge and esoteric practices to integrate into your teaching, practice and life — all the ways you show up in the world.

Here’s a little video to (begin to) show you how we roll in Embodied Sanskrit.
